The Park Suite

The Park Suite is where most of Thornhurst’s celebrations take shape. It’s a room that holds a crowd without ever feeling like a crowd, high enough to breathe, wide enough to move, and adaptable enough to become whatever the occasion asks of it. Draped for a milestone birthday or laid for a christening breakfast, it transforms completely while always feeling like itself.

Natural light fills the room during the day. Come evening, the lighting shifts and the space settles into something warmer, suited to speeches, to music, to the kind of evening that goes on longer than anyone planned. And when guests need a moment outside, the Park Suite has direct access to its own private garden, somewhere to catch some air without ever really leaving the party.

When the occasion calls for something a little more expansive, the Marquee delivers. Set against Thornhurst’s manicured gardens, it brings together the best of outdoors and indoors,  the greenery and open sky on one side, the warmth and elegance of a properly dressed celebration on the other.

It suits occasions where scale is part of the statement. Speeches under a canopy of lights, dancing with the grounds visible beyond, guests spilling out onto the lawn as the evening cools. Our Restaurant Room offers an inviting and versatile space, perfect for intimate gatherings, private dining, and special celebrations. Overlooking the beautiful grounds, it provides a light and airy setting that enhances any occasion with a sense of space and tranquillity.

Is there a minimum number of guests required?

No — there is no minimum number of guests required to celebrate at Thornhurst Manor. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering for a handful of people or a large occasion for hundreds, we have a space to suit.

Absolutely — and if you would like a hand with the finishing touches, we offer our own room dressing package to take that off your plate entirely. Prefer to do it yourself or bring in your own supplier? That works too. We have a list of trusted local suppliers we are happy to recommend.

Yes — all dietary requirements and allergies can be discussed at the time of booking. Our kitchen team will work around your guests needs to make sure no one is left out. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Yes. Free car parking is available onsite for all guests, so no one needs to worry about where to leave their car.
